Mixed pieces of 19th Century Belgian lace borders Mechlin lace or Point de Malines is an old bobbin lace, one of the best known Flemish laces, originally produced in Mechelen (Belgium). 2 smaller pieces and 2 longer lace borders. The most left is 140 cm long and 7.5 cm wide, next to the right is 83 cm long and 6 cm wide, the next is the longest of 550 cm long and 9 cm wide, the last one is the widest and is 199 cm long and 17 cm wide It is a cream colored lace and has not been used, but does show some discolorations.
