Description
Great Chinese rosewood tray. This tray was probably originally the top of a table and has old carved edge with faux bamboo decoration and bamboo fronds with sophisticated joints. The rosewood tray is made out of a dense hardwood, the grain is very similar to Huanghuali for the carved edge and hongmu in the center, the tray part might not be as old as the edge.
Condition: Some wear and staining to the tray. Light separation to joints but still stable.
