Description
An antique glass shade of drop-form made of sea green glass with a nipple end and moulded wrythen/ribbed decoration, made in England at the end of the 19th or beginning of the 20th Century. Bears all signs of being produced by James Powell (Whitefriars), but a firm attribution has, for years, eluded the finest minds of British glass research.
Mounted on a later solid brass gallery, and completed with a British-made solid brass B22 lamp holder and a generous length of premium Italian 3-core double insulated cable with a decorative mottled grey linen braid, in-keeping with the period of the shade. Clean and ready to install.
The lamp accepts a single B22 bulb.
