Standing secretary Epoch & style: Wilhelminian period, 2nd half of the 19th century Features – veneered from the outside in walnut and walnut root – shell crowning – profiled head cornice – flanked by decorative strips typical of the era – with Wilhelminian period appliqu at the top – framing of the interior and writing surface ebonized – interior construction is veneered in walnut root – letter tray, 6 small drawers and 1 smooth-running drawer – stands on pressed ball feet – brass fittings – key included The secretary is in good, well-maintained condition with slight signs of wear.
