Description
Wonderful Viewosi Design lamp, made in the 70s with yellow bent murmon glass.
Vetreria Viewosi is an Italian firm specialized in blown glass design. Guglielmo Viewsi, heir to a centenary tradition in Murano’s glass manufacturing, founded, precisely in Murano, his own firm in the 50s thanks to the acquisition of a new oven. He decides to specialize in lighting, and towards the 60s he collaborated with renowned designers such as Sottsass or Meretti.
Its mixture is original, because based on an artisanal elaboration, it evolves, innovating, until you find a unique, more resistant mixture and that does not become opaque over time. In this case, the lamps have been bent to get a striking shape, which is enhanced with the bright colors. Glass plates combine in manufacturing, leaving the white color inside.
